1. Summon for the fourth ordinary council of the students’ union fiscal year of 20/21

Lovely members of the Blekinge Students’ Union – We hereby summon you to the fourth ordinary council of this fiscal year. The dates and time for the council meeting are 2021-05-08, 09:00 and 2021-05-09, 09:00 if necessary. As you know, the current situation that we’re in restricts us from having the council in its ordinary way. We will therefore hold the meeting digitally.

For the fourth ordinary council, we are going to decide the following:

• election to the sections,
• dates for next fiscal years ordinary councils’ of the Students’ Union,
• assertion of election for the Students’ Union Council,
• operational and financial auditors,
• update of the emolument policy and salary for the presidium,
• budget for the next fiscal year,
• operational plan for the next fiscal year,
• election to the student union board,
• election of student representatives.

PLEASE NOTE – Since the meeting will be held online, and partly in English, it is important that all sub-orgs of the student union submit their operational reports to this council. Please prepare these in English if possible. Like mentioned, the plan is to hold part of the meeting in English. Right now the plan is to have the meeting in English except for the agenda points for elections, which will be primarily held in Swedish (if no objection is raised regarding this during the meeting.) If you are the chairperson of your sub-organization, put it into your calendar to submit the operational report to us [1] no later than 2021-04-29. Include information about what your organization is doing to ensure quality in your work even though we’re all heavily restricted due to the Corona pandemic.

If you wish to submit a motion to the meeting, please submit it to the Student Union Board[1] no later than 2021-04-24 at 23:59. If you need help in writing a motion, the Board is arranging a Motion-a-thon (Motionsstuga) on 2021-04-19, 2021-04-21 and 2021-04-23 online on our Teams [2]. You do not need an account to join the digital Motion-a-thon.
